The Atlanta Beltline is one of the largest urban redevelopment projects in the United States. What was once a railroad corridor that completed a circle around the core of Atlanta, is now (or for some sections, soon to be completed) a 22-mile loop of parks and walking/hiking trails peppered with public art, restaurants and breweries. It should be noted that most neighborhoods bordering the Beltline have seen above average real estate appreciation and desirability. While currently under development, most sections are currently open to the public. The jewel of the Beltline is the highly anticipated opening of 300-acre Westside Quarry Park located on the Westside of Atlanta.
