Located in the western suburbs of Atlanta, Hiram is located in Paulding county, just west of Cobb county and north of Douglas county. Hiram has really felt a boom in the last two decades, once a small rural town more than tripled in size and offers all the amenities of suburban living like shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Annual festivals include the Fall Festival with live music, pony and hay rides, games and crafts. Hiram parks include Ben Hill Memorial Park, Homer Leggett Memorial Park and Hiram Hounds Dog Park. All Paulding county residents enjoy access to the Silver Comet Trail, which like the Atlanta Beltline, is a non-motorized trail that extends over 61 miles from Alabama to Smyrna.
